Conversion of the heating center at Shoppi Spreitenbach

The Shoppi Tivoli is the first, the largest and also the most modern shopping center in Switzerland. The entire building complex is continuously optimized and modernized. For this conversion, the improvement of energy consumption and the renovation of the heating center were on the operator's agenda. The already heated exhaust air is no longer led outside unused, but the heat is extracted from this exhaust air and fed back into the heating network. Using a heat pump to recover waste heat from ventilation systems is not an everyday solution, as it only pays off in larger systems that produce a correspondingly large amount of waste heat. For a shopping center the size of Shoppi Tivoli, this is an efficient and resource-saving option.

Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the entire electrical installation. The entire electrical installation was newly created and corresponds to the current state of the art.
